The Timepiece
The Santos is one of the first purpose-built wristwatches ever made — Louis Cartier built it in 1904 so his friend Santos-Dumont could tell time mid-flight. The current Medium is the best version of it: exposed screws, QuickSwitch straps, 100 metres of water resistance, and the 1847 manufacture calibre. This is the Cartier collectors actually wear every day.
