The Timepiece
The Portugieser dates to 1939, when two Portuguese merchants asked IWC for a wristwatch with marine-chronometer precision — the feuille hands and restrained dial are still the signature. The Chronograph 41 runs the in-house column-wheel calibre 69355, visible through the sapphire back. Blue dial on black alligator is the combination that needs no selling.
