The 2009 Master Grande Tradition à Répétition Minutes was a landmark: JLC's first movement with a silicon escapement, a 15-day power reserve driving a minute repeater with crystal gongs, and a regulator display on a silvered velvet dial. One hundred pieces in yellow gold, with power reserve and torque indicators keeping the 360-hour calibre 947R honest. A museum piece that happens to be wearable.
