The Timepiece

The Heliotourbillon is JLC's newest answer to gravity: a tourbillon spinning on three axes like a top, 163 components in titanium cages on ceramic ball bearings. Around it, the manual calibre 388 runs a full perpetual calendar with grande date and moonphase. The pink gold case is 44mm of pebble-smooth Duomètre sculpture on a brown alligator strap. Twenty pieces a year — the waitlist does the talking.
