The Timepiece

The First Omega in Space is the reissue collectors waited a decade for - the CK 2998 that Walter Schirra wore on Mercury-Atlas 8, rebuilt at 39.7mm with the 3861 inside. The grey-blue CVD dial copies the tone of the originals that aged in orbit, and the crystal is sapphire machined into the old Hesalite dome. Smaller, truer, and harder to get than the standard Moonwatch.
